Dear European colleagues and experts,

As you all know, early December the call for abstracts for Geneva 2010 conference closed. More than 2100 abstracts for oral papers/ posters, workshops and symposia in English, French and Spanish were submitted by the deadline. The review process has started as of this Monday and will last until the 22nd of December, 2009. However, we wish to further promote active contributions from

particularly the European region as host region of the World Conference - and this from both health promotion and primary prevention as well as from fields "outside health". We would like to encourage those who were or would be interested to make a submission for the Geneva2010 conference, but did not have sufficient time or for other regions missed out to meet the deadline.

Therefore, we accept additional late submissions until the 1st of January,2010.
